While the 2 adventurers slog throught he altiplano I am roughing it at the beach in Iquique. I decided to stay an extra day due to sleeping in. The Hostel is very nice and only 2 streets from the beach, plus the beer is cheap. They also offer cheap paragliding but I'm too old for that. I will leave that for the young bucks.
